Assoc. Prof. Ilyas GOLCUKLU has joined the AES team as Head of Private International Law & Arbitration Department in 2022. Prof. Golcuklu has been acting as party-appointed arbitrator, sole arbitrator in both local and international ad hoc and institutional arbitral proceedings. He has been involved in both commercial arbitration and investment arbitration cases as sole, party- appointed or presiding arbitrator. Mr. Golcuklu also has been acting as a certified expert mediator in complex international and local commercial disputes.

Ilyas’ expertise resides in the areas of arbitration, private international law, foreign investments law, citizenship law, international transport law, aviation law, international commercial contracts, and insurance law.
